Executive Speaking Coach

You don't have

to love the spotlight

to be exceptional in it.

Speaking & communication coaching

for senior leaders, keynote speakers,

academics and experts

in high-profile roles.

When your words matter, you want to deliver them with clarity, confidence and impact.

Whether you're preparing for a major keynote, delivering an important lecture or communicating at the highest level of leadership, I help you bring out the very best in your speaking.

Combining performance expertise, communication technique and a deep understanding of confidence under pressure, my coaching helps you become a more compelling, assured and effective speaker.

Exceptional speaking. Entirely yourself.

Your expertise deserves to be heard.

You may be exceptionally accomplished in your field.

Respected for your knowledge, judgement and experience.

But that doesn't necessarily make public speaking easy.

Perhaps you dread the build-up to a presentation, over-prepare to compensate for nerves or find yourself struggling to think clearly when all eyes are on you.

Or perhaps you're already an experienced speaker, but know you could communicate with greater presence, authority and impact.

Whatever your starting point, the goal isn't to turn you into someone you're not.

It's to develop the skills, confidence and freedom to communicate at the level your expertise deserves.

"I had a wonderful experience with Kaffy. Her coaching was outstanding, and I could see noticeable improvements in my voice. The vocal exercises were particularly effective, engaging, and easy to practise consistently.

I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their speaking voice. She is knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping her coachees succeed. The structured approach, and high-quality coaching make this a worthwhile experience for anyone serious about developing their vocal skills."

"At short notice I was asked to run a panel at a major industry event. Luckily Kaffy was available and helped me pull together a coherent structure for the event and for my work with Subject Matter Expert Presenters, the event organisers and the audience.

Kaffy did a really fantastic job, taking me from a position of dread to enjoyment and looking forward to to the next opportunity!"

great speaking is about more than the words

You can have brilliant ideas, impeccable preparation and years of experience, and still struggle to communicate at your best when the pressure is on.

That's because speaking isn't simply an intellectual exercise. It's physical, psychological and profoundly human.

My approach brings together four essential elements:

Confidence under pressure: Understanding and managing your body's response to speaking, so you can stay steady, think clearly and perform effectively.

Voice and presence: Developing a clear, expressive voice and a physical presence that conveys natural authority, warmth and credibility.

Message and delivery: Structuring ideas, using storytelling and creating presentations that capture attention and make a lasting impression.

Mindset and connection: Moving beyond self-consciousness and fear of judgement to communicate with genuine purpose and connection.

We work on the whole experience of speaking, not simply the visible performance.

Because the best communication doesn't feel like an act.

It feels like you, at your best.

when speaking feels harder than it should

I have a particular expertise in helping highly capable people who experience stage fright, speaking anxiety or a deep reluctance to be in the spotlight.

The racing heart. The shaking voice. The mind that suddenly goes blank. The exhausting anticipation of a presentation that everyone else assumes you'll take in your stride.

These experiences can affect even the most accomplished professionals.

Drawing on my own experience of stage fright and my work with nervous system regulation, I help clients develop practical ways to manage the physical and psychological response to speaking.

We don't rely on positive thinking or simply telling you to practise more.

We work on the underlying response to pressure, alongside the skills of effective communication.

You don't have to become someone who just loves public speaking. You can become someone who does it exceptionally well — and feels good doing it.

"Kaffy is an excellent public speaking coach. Professional, engaging and supportive, with practical advice that has significantly improved my confidence and presentation skills.

Highly recommended."

"I cannot recommend Kaffy highly enough. I struggle with anxiety and rejection sensitivity, and ahead of speaking on stage at a big event at the NEC, I was feeling the pressure massively.
Kaffy gave me practical, easy-to-use coaching that made a real difference…. clear, actionable tips and guidance. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants support with their voice, presence, and speaking confidence."

ABOUT me

High performance expertise.

A deep understanding of people.

A highly individual approach.

My background is in theatre and the performing arts, where I developed a deep understanding of voice, physical presence, storytelling and the craft of engaging an audience. But I also know what it's like to experience debilitating stage fright.

That combination has shaped the way I work with speakers. I understand both what makes a speaker compelling to watch and what it takes to feel confident while speaking.

My work draws on performance techniques, communication psychology, mindset and nervous system regulation to help people develop genuine, lasting speaking confidence and skill.

I work closely with each client, tailoring our sessions to their personality, professional context and specific goals. My approach is thoughtful, practical and encouraging, with a strong emphasis on applying what we learn to real situations.

I won't teach you to imitate someone else's speaking style.

I'll help you discover just how effective your own can be.

Your next important speaking moment deserves your best.

You may have a keynote approaching, a major presentation to prepare or a leadership role that increasingly places you in the spotlight.

Perhaps you've been speaking publicly for years but have never quite felt comfortable doing it. Or perhaps you're already an accomplished speaker, ready to take your communication to another level. Whatever your goals, I'd be delighted to explore how we might work together.

Private, bespoke coaching, tailored to you and the demands of your role.

Online and (UK) in-person coaching by arrangement.
